This one’s for the music lovers…

After two long years of restrictions… festivals are back, baby!

It’s been quite some time since we threw on our dancing shoes and spent a weekend singing along to our favourite tunes in a crowd full of people, but festival season is on the horizon and it’s time to get planning.

The first out the gate for this year’s Irish festival circuit is Westmeath Bachelor Festival, which will be hosting a weekend of live music and entertainment across the May bank holiday weekend in the heart of the country, and we just so happen to be giving away TWO VIP weekend tickets!

From Friday 29 April to Sunday 1 May in Blackhall, Mullingar, this brand new festival will be putting Irish talent front and centre as it showcases a different facet of our music scene with each session.

Bringing all the best-loved Irish names to the Midlands, the weekend will consist of three distinct sessions focussing on a different musical genre – Lakeland, Showbands and Country – each boasting an array of brilliant musical talent.

Friday’s Lakeland session will see the likes of Gavin James, The Blizzards and The Academic take to the stage, while Saturday’s Showbands include Red Hurley, Linda Martin and Ronan Collins. Sunday’s Country performers include Nathan Carter, Robert Mizzell and Cliona Hagan, but the festivities don’t end there.

Westmeath’s answer to the Rose of Tralee, the Westmeath Bachelor Festival final will also take place on Sunday 1 May in the Mullingar Arts Centre and it’s going to be quite the star-studded event. The celebrity judging panel includes Louis Walsh, Anne Doyle, Doireann Garrihy and Nathan Carter, all tasked with crowning Ireland’s Most Eligible Bachelor.

Along with the illustrious title, the winner will also receive an all inclusive holiday to Ibiza, a new wardrobe that would be the envy of James Bond himself and a cash donation to their chosen charity.

Taking place right in the heart of Ireland, Westmeath Bachelor Festival promises to be a weekend of top quality entertainment that will draw a crowd from miles around.

With both day and weekend passes available HERE, you can secure your spot today. While there are no camping facilities on site, there are plenty of hotels and B&Bs nearby.

To celebrate the long-awaited return of Irish festivals, we’ve teamed up with Westmeath Bachelor Festival to give one lucky winner a pair of VIP weekend tickets! To be in with a chance of nabbing the prize, all you’ve got to do is fill out the form below with your contact details.

Good luck!

Ireland’s first music festival since restrictions were lifted, Westmeath Bachelor Festival is bringing some of the best Irish musical talent to the Midlands on the May bank holiday weekend. Day passes or weekend tickets are available to purchase right HERE.
