The DJI Osmo Pocket 4P has officially launched in Ireland, the tech giant’s first dual-lens pocket gimbal camera and its most ambitious pocket model to date, the Irish Mirror reports.
It arrives eight years after DJI created the pocket-camera category with the original Osmo Pocket in 2018, and hot on the heels of the single-lens Osmo Pocket 4. The dual-lens system pairs a new 1in stacked LOFIC CMOS sensor, with an f/2.0 aperture and 17 stops of dynamic range, with a 60mm telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom – letting users switch between wide cityscapes and tighter portraits.
DJI said the wide-angle lens shoots up to 4K at 240 frames per second and handles high-contrast scenes such as city nightscapes and backlit portraits, while a new 10-bit D-Log 21 colour profile captures more than one billion colours. The camera works seamlessly with DJI’s wireless microphones and comes in a classic black or an eye-catching pearl white finish.
The wide-angle lens uses a 20mm-equivalent 1in CMOS sensor and can also grab 50-megapixel stills, while the second lens gives creators genuine reach without swapping kit or losing quality. DJI is pitching the 4P as a do-everything pocket rig for travel, vlogging and social content, and it is available in Irish stores now. For more, see our latest tech and lifestyle news.
