Looking for somewhere new to go out this weekend?

If you're getting tired of your usual venues or you're looking for a night out with a twist, we've got just the spot...

12 Hours of Temporary Pleasure, a brand new D.I.Y pop-up nightclub, is coming to Dublin this weekend and it couldn't be easier for you to get your hands on some tickets.

Last year Absolut launched the Absolut Clubbing Council - calling for promoters and creators to apply for funding to create a bespoke clubbing event, in a move of support they hoped would bring the shine back to the disco ball of the Irish clubbing scene.

Promoter Temporary Pleasure was the entry chosen by the Absolut Clubbing Council to win the €10K, allowing them to bring a brand new pop-up clubbing experience to life in Dublin this summer - and it's finally happening this weekend!

The promoter's first pop-up club, 12 Hours of Temporary Pleasure, is coming to The Complex in Dublin 7 this Saturday 13 August for one night only, in what's sure to be a new and unique experience for club-goers.

This week has seen the venue host a series of workshops with discussions surrounding club culture, architecture and the future of DIY spaces. On Saturday, the venue will transform into an immersive electronic arts centre, featuring DJ sets, local artists and performers.

If you're not familiar with Temporary Pleasure, they're a collective of architects and club creatives, tasked with creating D.I.Y nightclubs that can be designed, built and brought to life in just five days. After the event, the venue will quickly disappear, as if it never happened.

The event is supported by Absolut Clubbing Council, an assembly of key personalities in club culture including Irish DJ Krystal Klear, club culture activist Andrea Horan and event promoters Souletiquette.
