What a paw-some offer!

When it comes to selecting a new career, what are the benefits that clinch it for you? Paternity leave? Stock options? Health insurance?

How about pet leave?

That’s right. Paw-ternity leave is officially a thing, and it is being offered to the employees of the host management service, Dublin.

The initiative, Pawternity Package is described as a “pawsome” initiative for employees who want to get a dog or cat and require a certain level of flexibility to both work and care for their new pet. In effect, the leave permits employees to spend a week working from home so they can be with the critter as it settles in.

In a statement, Airsorted’s Dublin City Manager, Rachael Moore said: “Our Pawternity package ensures that employees are given the flexibility and support to take on a kitten or puppy should they wish.

“We’re particularly passionate about this initiative because our employees make ideal pet-owners and we love that about them.”
