In the meantime, here are some exciting activities to keep you busy this weekend…

Book a helicopter ride

If you want to take in some of Ireland’s most iconic tourist spots this weekend but don’t want to deal with the busy crowds, we’ve got a suggestion…

A helicopter tour above one of Ireland’s stunning coastlines is the perfect way to enjoy some of Ireland’s most popular locations this weekend, without the hassle of queues or crowds. Adventure Experiences Ireland 101 still have some availability for their Cliffs of Moher tours this weekend, which you can find out more about HERE.

Escape room

If you’re looking for something to keep you busy on a rainy day, why not get a gang together and attempt an escape room?

There’s loads of different escape rooms around the country for you to choose from, but Incognito Escape Room in Dublin has three different rooms for you to try out, each with different problems to be solved. More on that HERE.

Mountain biking

This one’s not for the faint hearted, but if you’re looking for a thrilling outdoor activity to keep you busy this weekend, mountain biking could be the one for you.

If you’re looking for a challenge, the Ballinastoe Mountain Bike Trail in Wicklow is a pretty difficult one but offers some stunning forestry and incredible views of Sugarloaf Mountain and the East coast. Find out more HERE.

Abseiling and rock climbing

If you want to reach new heights this weekend, a day spent rock climbing and abseiling is the perfect outdoor activity for you and your pals to try out.

If you fancy a trip to Galway, Killary Adventure Co offers an exciting 30ft climb followed by an abseiling descent. You can find out more HERE.

Ziplining

If you want to take in some stunning scenic views from a whole new perspective, an exhilarating afternoon spent ziplining ticks all of the boxes.

Ireland’s longest zipline (300 metres to be exact) can be found in Castlecomber Discovery Park in Kilkenny. At its highest point, this line is 35 metres over the ground, offering amazing views of the surrounding forestry and lakes. You can book HERE.
