Here’s why #jbforjodie is trending in Ireland in the wake of the Buncrana tragedy

#jbforjodie.

Friends of Jodie-Lee Daniels, the 14-year-old girl who died along with four of her family members following a tragic accident in Buncrana at the weekend, are trying to get her favourite singer – Justin Bieber – to pay tribute to her on Twitter.

People are being asked to tweet the hashtag #jbforjodie to @justinbieber.

Quotes in the The Derry Journal from Jodie-Lee’s principal Marie Lindsay give insight to the young lady’s personality:

“She loved her Justin Bieber pencil case and dreamed of the singer being there on her wedding day,” she said. “She loved her clothes, her make up and her style. And she was a huge Derry City fan.”

You can help Jodie-Lee’s friends by tweeting #jbforjodie at Justin Bieber on Twitter.
