His trick is really simple.
Oisin Foley got in touch with JOE on Thursday evening and immediately we were intrigued by the video that he sent into us.
This was his message to us:
“Hello, guys. My name is Oisin Foley, and I’m a 22 year old law student in Maynooth. However when I’m not studying I work as a Magician, Mentalist & Hypnotist.
“I’ve been popping videos up on Facebook for the past few months now since I performed a trick on one of Stevo Timothy’s videos and have even put on my first one man show in my hometown of Moate.
“I’m gonna be frank with you, I have f*ck all interest in law! I want to work full time as an entertainer and have since god was in short trousers, so it’d mean the world to me if you guys would have a look at my latest video, it will blow you away.”
So we gave Oisin’s video a watch and we’ll give you the short explanation. He has five cards at the start of the video and he tells you, the viewer, to pick one and focus really hard on that card.
He then claims that he will remove the card that you are thinking of leaving just four cards in his hand at the end of the video.
Lo and behold, we watched the video, picked one of the five cards and like magic, it was not there at the end.
We tried with different cards just to test it out more and our cards still weren’t there at the end.
We were amazed but then we copped it. Can you find out how Oisin Foley picks your right card?
