Icelandic airline offering flights from Ireland to the US for €130

Anyone fancy a trip to Pittsburgh?

Icelandic airline WOW Air have announced details of new routes from Dublin and Cork to Pittsburgh in the United States, with prices starting at €130 one way.

Pittsburgh will become the eighth city in the US and Canada serviced from Ireland by WOW Air when the route opens in June 2017, alongside Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington D.C.

As is the case with all of those routes, the Cork and Dublin routes to Pittsburgh will have a scheduled stop off in Reykjavik on the outbound and return flights, with a total travelling time of approximately 10 hours each way.

Prices for flights from Dublin and Cork to Pittsburgh start at €129.99 one way from June 2017 and when return flights are factored in, the cheapest option is currently €301.13 return from Dublin and €315.48 return from Cork.
