For this week’s JOE’s Juke Box, with thanks to Nissan Ireland, we’ve gone for one of our reader’s suggestions, so stick the car on cruise and enjoy The Eagles, ‘Take It Easy’.

We’ve been asking you for your suggestions on the ULTIMATE driving song that should be featured on JOE’s Juke Box, and Liam Hanevy though we should give ‘Take It Easy’ a spin. So Liam, this one’s for you…

‘Take It Easy’ was The Eagles first single and it was originally released back in May, 1972 on their debut album, Eagles. The song’s soulful, mellow tune along with a few automotive lyrics makes it one of the best songs to just chill out and drive to.

If you’re in the mood for a nice long relaxing drive then my not take a spin down the N11 towards Wexford. It’s a nice, long and mostly straight road that’s perfect for just cruising along.

If you’ve got a suggestion for the ULTIMATE driving song then make sure to let us know in the box below and we’ll make sure to give a hat tip to the JOE reader who suggests our next pick.
