NHL 14
This game has been out for a few weeks, but it is such incredible craic that we can't put it down. In fact we're playing it as we type this. The NHL season is back on our screens the last few weeks, and if you were looking for a way to get interested in the sport without knowing too much about it, then playing this game is a good way to go about it.
JOE started playing the NHL '94 Anniversary Mode which is frantic, fast, and full of huge hits, but we've moved on to playing the regular game, which is even more enjoyable. You can use the most basic controls and work your way up as you start to understand the game a bit more and get to grips with it, but this game has enough to keep anyone from the guy who knows almost nothing about NHL up to the hardcore ice hockey fan completely entertained. There are developmental leagues, leagues from other countries and international teams, as well as career simulations and all the bells and whistles you'd expect from the lads at EA.

The most important thing to say about this game is that it's the first sports game in a while that we have just had pure fun playing. There are plenty of laughs to be had if you can get your mates involved in multiplayer too, just watch out for the sneaky players who like to foul just as you're shooting.

JOE likes to keep in shape, and one of the most important parts of that is what we eat. Body and Soul festival
The early bird tickets for Body and Soul have already gone on sale this year, and with the summer that we had last year, we'll be hoping the weather is just as good this time around. It takes place on the weekend of June 20th-22nd, 2014 in Ballinlough Castle Estate, Co. Westmeath.
The festival often has a great mix of different music to appeal to everyone, and never fails to give fans a great weekend of craic with a pretty diverse schedule of acts lined up. As of yet, there is no word on who will be playing, but we can expect electronic beats alongside disco, soul and rock ‘n’ roll, coupled with a midnight masquerade ball, five-course gourmet feasts, performance theatre, holistic arts, as well as tented talks, making this boutique festival the pick of the summer for next year. Get in early to avoid disappointment.
