Liverpool legend John Aldridge has donated a signed jersey to raise money for the Sean Cox fund

This was a fantastic gesture by Aldo.

Living legend John Aldridge has donated one of his classic kits, which he himself has signed, in order to raise money for the Sean Cox fund.

He donated the jersey to LFC Daytrippers, a very popular Liverpool fan podcast, who are selling tickets for the raffle to win the jersey for just €5 each.

As per the website’s statement on the competition:

One of Liverpool & Ireland greatest players John Aldridge has kindly donated this singed shirt so we can raffle it in aid of the Sean Cox fund.

Sean Cox from Dunboyne, Co.Meath is currently in an induced coma after being attacked by Roma ultras before Liverpool’s Champions League Match.

We would love to help our fellow Daytrippers and for just €5 you can too.

Every €5 donation will put you in the draw to win the signed shirt, with John Aldridge himself picking out the winner at random.

We would like to thank John Aldridge & Redsbet who have made this possible.

You can also donate to the Sean Cox go fund me page here.
