Kim Kardashian and Kanye West chose a very unique name for baby number three – Chicago – the place which so happens to be Kanye’s hometown.
Kim announced the name on her app by simply posting “Chicago West.”

According to Citylab, it’s reported that the west side of Chicago is considered the most gentrified area of the state. However, it is still unsure as to whether this influenced Kim and Kanye’s naming decision.
Kim and Kanye welcomed their third child via surrogate on Monday. She weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz, and both parents boasted “an instant connection.”
Kim was in the delivery room during the birth, and it’s understood that she was the first person to have skin-to-skin contact with the baby.
The famous duo already have two kids together, 4-year-old North, and 2-year-old Saint. Their newest babyborn is set to have adopted the nickname Chi (pronounced Shy) already.
