Or, as one Reddit user referred to him, “Kenny West Belfast”.
The principal of St Mary’s Christian Brothers Grammar School in West Belfast has said she’s “more than happy” to have seen Kanye West sporting one of the school’s jumpers.
Speaking to Belfast Live, principal Siobhán Kelly said: “Goodness knows where he got it… We started to get messages last night as people were sending it through and some of our past pupils were wondering where on earth the link to the school is”.
The controversial rapper wore the jumper while indulging in a pedicure, which he promptly stopped after announcing “I’m not gonna do the rest of it”.
Making a getaway, Ye added “It’s my toes. It’s my toes. I’m not gonna do it. It hurt.”

Past pupils and school staff have explained that the GAA top Kanye donned for his pedi appointment is actually very rare, and is one of just 35 originally designed for the school’s appearance in the final of a Gaelic football competition, the McLarnon Cup, in 2008.

Kanye West somehow in possession of rare West Belfast GAA top
Speaking to BBC News, Ms Kelly said she didn’t know where Kanye could have copped the jumper, which is usually a prized possession.
“He may have been given it by someone from West Belfast or maybe he picked it up in a charity shop – we do not know”.
The video was originally shared on rapper Ty Dolla $ign’s Instagram, and has since been shared far and wide – particularly amongst St. Mary’s alum.
