Nacho cheese wedges, two new quarter pounders and a salted caramel latte are amongst five new items to be added to the menu in McDonald’s restaurants in Ireland next month.

After the double quarter pounder was added to the permanent menu in August, burger aficionados will have the option of two new quarter pounders at McDonald’s for a limited time only, from 7 October to 17 November.

On the menu during that time will be McDonald’s new spicy quarter pounder with cheese, which includes two slices of pepper jack cheese, onions, jalapenos, mustard and a spicy ketchup in a sesame seed bun.

Consumers will also have the option of the new quarter pounder deluxe, which comes with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, a slice of cheese, pickles, fresh onions, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and streaky bacon in a sesame-topped bun.

Apart from the quarter pounders, a new McChicken BLT will be available, as well as the aforementioned Nacho Cheese wedges, which will be returning as a portion of five or a sharebox.

Finally, as far as refreshments are concerned, a salted caramel latte will also be on offer from 7 October and like all the new additions, it will be available for a limited time only, until 17 November.
