Wet, wild and windy, it's time to stay indoors and keep yourself warm.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning for Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford. The warning is valid from 11:00 am tomorrow right up until Friday at the same time.
The warning states: “30 to 50mm of rainfall Thursday into Friday. Some high totals will lead to spot flooding."
The forecast for tomorrow reads: "Thursday will start cold and dry, brightest across the eastern half of the country. However rain will developing through the southwest and west in the morning will gradually spread to all areas later. It will become heavy and persistent in places, with some spot flooding across Munster. Breezy, with fresh to strong and gusty southeast winds, moderating later. Afternoon temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees Celsius".
That's not the end of the bleak conditions though because a Status Yellow gale warning has also been issued which states "South to southeast winds will increase to gale force later tonight and Thursday, on Irish coastal waters, from Mizen Head to Loop Head to Malin Head".
Be careful if you're out and about.
