Winterfest is coming to Guinness Open Gate Brewery, and it sounds incredible

JOE

Winterfest is coming.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. This Winterfest announcement from Guinness is sure to ratchet up that Christmas feeling by several notches.

This December, for the first time ever, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery will be transformed into an extraordinary Christmas festival, complete with a seasonally inspired line-up of entertainment. The brewery will open its doors to some of the best local food vendors, designers, gift makers, DJs, bands, comedians, choirs and much more.

Guinness Winterfest will roll out serious festive feels from Thursday 5 December to Sunday 8 December 2019 and from Thursday 12 December to Sunday 15 December 2019. It will be open to members of the public, aged 18 and over, from 4-10pm on Thursday and Fridays, from 1-10pm on Saturdays and from 1-7pm on Sundays.

This is no ordinary Christmas festival, at Guinness Winterfest guests can also expect a music and entertainment line-up full to the brim with Christmas feels, programmed by music promoter and Dublin publican, John Mahon.

They’ll find live DJs and bands lighting up the stage, bump into up and coming buskers or belt out their own tunes in the karaoke caravan.

Tickets are only a tenner and you can get them here if you are over 18. Tickets include access to Guinness Winterfest plus a pint of Guinness or one of the festive inspired Guinness Open Gate brewer’s experimental beers. Now that’s what you call a bargain.
