“Ordinary people” Nigel Farage and Donald Trump stick it to the elites by posing in gold-plated lift

We've all got gold lifts at home, haven't we?

Just yesterday UKIP's former/current/returning/interim (delete as appropriate) leader Nigel Farage claimed to be the voice of "ordinary people" when he appeared on American news channel Fox News. He was discussing Donald Trump's election as President, which shocked the world this week: https://twitter.com/Nigel_Farage/status/797478154491363332 Farage, the biggest proponent of the UK leaving the European Union was quick to ally himself with Trump during the American Presidential campaign, and as soon as he could book a flight, was on on way over to the US to try to meet the new President-elect. Like Farage, Trump too has painted himself as the champion of the ordinary citizen, while at the same time (somewhat confusingly) taking every opportunity to remind everyone just how incredibly rich he is.
