WATCH: If you ever order a package online, you don’t want this guy delivering it to your house

I’ll just launch it up here, be grand.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday have just passed and we’d wager there’s a good chance many of you reading have had purchases made on those days delivered to your door in the last week or so.

If you have, we hope the delivery worker responsible for doing so was a little more professional than a delivery worker for Yodel, who was captured on CCTV launching a package into the air in an attempt to land it on a first-floor balcony in Milton Keynes.

The recipient of the delivery, Grant Baxter, posted the footage on Facebook, in which the delivery man can be seen making three failed attempts to throw the package upwards – and using his foot to stop it from hitting the ground on the first attempt – before seemingly succeeding on his fourth try.

Baxter told the Daily Mail that the package was a gift for his mother-in-law and that he had been informed by Yodel that the package had been delivered to a neighbour down the road.

While Yodel weren’t available for comment, a spokesperson for John Lewis, from whom Baxter purchased the gift, said: “Clearly this is unacceptable. We have apologised to Mrs Baxter and have sent her a replacement package.

“We are also discussing this matter with Yodel who aren’t a regular delivery company for John Lewis.”
