Somebody in the capital could be about to breathe a huge sigh of relief.
As anyone who’s ever owned or purchased one will know, an engagement ring is not something you want to misplace.
It’s not just the fact that they can be pretty expensive, there’s massive sentimental value there as well.
Of course Sod’s Law dictates that the more valuable something is, the more likely you are to lose it and there have been plenty of tales of woe involving the loss of the precious rings over the years.
Hopefully, another one will be avoided in Dublin as Wildflour Bakery took to Twitter this morning in an effort to find the owner of an engagement ring found on Arbour Hill in Stoneybatter.

As of shortly before 11am on Friday morning, Kate Packwood told us that there had been no inquiries about the engagement ring, but hopefully it will be returned to its rightful owner before long.
If you can help the owner recover the ring, please contact Kate on Twitter @wildflourkate.
