PIC: Dublin natives won’t like what some messer from Cork has done to Dublin’s Wikipedia page

Conor Heneghan

Shots fired.

Plenty of people from Cork have long considered it to be the real capital of Ireland and they’re not exactly shy about telling people about it either.

The rivalry between the real capital – Dublin – and the so-called ‘real capital’ – Cork – has been in existence for generations and it’s been reignited by some messer or messers from the Rebel County of late with the most subtle of alterations to the Dublin County Wikipedia page.

Those changes probably aren’t going to last very long, so the proof is below…

Admittedly it’s fairly small beans, but it hasn’t taken much to ignite this particular long-running feud in the past; no doubt there will be retaliation from angry Dubliners before too long.

Cheers to John P. Lally (a Mayo man) for sending this one our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102, [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
