Pic: Dublin woman receives shocking letter from a child promoting the no vote on marriage referendum

Political debate amongst adults is fine but this is a bit too far

Political debate between adults is fine but this is a bit too far.

Regardless of your political, moral or religious stance on the issue of same sex marriage, there’s a reason as to why only adults have a deciding vote on the issue.

One of the most significant referendums in recent Irish society is scheduled to take place on May 22nd as both sides continue to make their arguments heard.

Any adult in Ireland is entitled to make their decision in the way that they deem fit but using a child to campaign for the cause, regardless of the stance, seems like incredibly poor judgement.

There’s no place for the style of campaigning that Dublin woman Tracey Walker experienced this evening as she was sitting at home.

Tracey noticed a man posting a letter through her mailbox and was about to throw it in the bin because she assumed that it was junk-mail.

Upon looking at the letter, she realised that there was a handwritten message from a child across the envelope.

Here’s what it said.

Speaking with Her, she said ” I am all for everyone voting for what they want but the fact the man had his child prepare it is wrong.”
