I’d imagine that there are certain things that most people just can’t get mad at. TV, tea and sleep would probably be near the top my choices but I’d be very tempted to add a slice of cake into this list.
A classic rule of journalism is that an image can make or break any story and it’s clear that The Guardian obviously place great importance in this ethos.
Having some experience of searching for the perfect image, I do have some sympathy for this journalist who obviously had a mini-meltdown after having to flick through pages and pages of stock photos just to find the right one.
I feel your pain pal but to quote Father Jack “I like cake”.
