Only in Ireland…
The first ever West’s Awake Music Festival was held by Clonoulty Rossmore GAA club last weekend and it was great success for all involved.
The line up included Hermitage Green, a Christy Moore tribute and Rebel Hearts and they went down a treat with the crowd.
There were loads of other activities run on the day and there was a bar for people to cool off in the glorious weather.
Understandably, the fields surrounding the GAA pitch were packed with parked cars to allow people go in and enjoy the event.
Some people were slower than others collecting their cars following a heavy day, which is a bit of a problem when a farmer wants to spread slurry on his land.
In true, “it’ll be grand” style, the farmer doesn’t wait for it to be moved and simply spreads around it.
A great photo…
