PICS: Donald Trump is selling Irish ‘Make America Great Again’ caps, but there’s one glaring error

Alan Loughnane

Come on Donald, get it right…

Donald Trump is rarely out of the news these days and once again today, the headlines were about him as he signed a revised travel ban targeting six Muslim-majority countries.

St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and to help get into the spirit of the occasion, Donald Trump’s team have created some merchandise.

More specifically, Irish ‘Make America Great Again’ caps…

On the official website, it says: “Capture the luck of the Irish with this Make America Great Again Hat.  While supplies last! Order by March 13th to ensure delivery by St. Patrick’s Day.”

The hat will set you back a cool $50 if you want to sport this bad boy.

But there’s one issue about the authenticity of the Irishness of the cap. That’s the inclusion of what is supposed to be a shamrock on the rear of the cap.

In reality, as many people will have realised, the shamrock only has three leaves whereas the one on the cap has four.

Yes, that’s right. The cap has a four leafed clover rather than the shamrock they’re supposed to have…

But luckily, so far, nobody has noticed the error… oh wait.
