PICS: Irish girls get their friend’s phone and text her mother; receive priceless Irish mammy response

Irish Mammy

The poor woman must have been worried sick.

Although every single one of them is unique, there are traits which are common in all Irish mammies, whose first instinct is to worry about their sons and daughters, with their best interests always at heart.

This is often reflected in text messages sent by Irish mammies, which usually get straight to the point and involve making sure you’re well fed, that you get home safe and that you look after yourself when involved in any social activities.

worried

A classic of the Irish mammy text conversation arrived in our inbox today, sent to us by a girl who will remain nameless and who, with the help of some partners in crime, got a hold of her friend’s phone and texted her mother with phrases that we think relate to having sex in some way.

Although she hadn’t a clue what was going on, all the mother in this conversation cared about was the well-being of her daughter and her sign-off line is an absolute classic.

Never change Irish mammies, never change.
