Pics: Remember the three Irish people searching for their doppelgängers? One has found a perfect match

We’ll need a DNA test to prove they’re not related

This didn’t take long…

Just over two weeks ago we featured a story on three Irish people who had set up a website called TwinStrangers.com with the aim of finding their doppelgängers, no matter where in the world they were from.

The trio, Harry, Niamh and Terence (pictured above from left to right) decided to make the challenge a bit more interesting by giving themselves just one month to find their closest lookalike.

With just under two weeks to go, it looks like we’ve already found a winner…

Niamh had previously said: “I’m hoping for a Hawaiian lookalike so I can visit her or him over there! If I do find her, I will meet her anywhere in the world.”

As it transpires, Niamh didn’t have to look too far afield as she found her doppelgänger, Karen, right here in Ireland through the power of social media.

It’s freaky just how alike the pair look, even though they’re not related.

Twin Strangers!

At least Niamh can rest easy knowing she has already found one of her Twin Strangers.

You can keep up to date with Harry’s and Terence’s progress over on the Twin Strangers blog.
