Pics: These three Irish people need your help finding their doppelgänger

Do you, or someone you know, look like these guys?

Could a stranger be your twin?

It’s been proven time and time again that if you search long and hard enough, you’ll find someone who could pass as your twin. It could even be a celebrity (see JOE examples: here, here & here).

That’s where three Irish people and the website TwinStrangers.com come in.

Harry, Niamh and Terence (pictured above from left to right) are three friends from DCU on the search for their doppelgänger and it doesn’t matter if they find them on the other side of the world, or down in their local shop.

The three have each given themselves one month to find someone who could pass as their lookalike with the winner being the one to find the closest match, but it’s a tall order so they’re looking for your help.

The idea of finding one of the several people in the world that could pass as our doppelgänger intrigued us here at JOE, so we got in touch with Niamh to find out a bit more about Twin Strangers.

We started with the obvious: Why would you want to find someone who looked like you?

Speaking with JOE, Niamh said: “Because the world would be more wonderful with two Niamhs!

“It started out as a bet between myself and two friends from DCU. We were wondering if finding our doppelgängers would be a freak once-off or could it happen again?

“I’m hoping for a Hawaiian lookalike so I can visit her or him over there! If I do find her, I will meet her anywhere in the world.”

So, do you think you, or someone you know, looks like Niamh’s, Harry’s or Terence’s twin? If you do, make sure to take a picture and send the guys a copy.

Will the guys find their doppelgängers? Or will they end up like Bono & the boys…
