Officially called ‘bathroom clubs’, these self contained members only facilities have just been launched in America. Would they catch on over here?
While most of us are happy enough with the range of public bathroom facilities available to us in Ireland (mainly pubs or fields) there is a certain segment of society who likes their most private moments to be very private indeed. And for those folks, their prayers have been answered by a new company in New York.
According to Gizmodo, Posh Stow and Go is the “first members-only day storage and bathroom facility”, essentially you rent and pay for access to your own private jacks, there for your pooping pleasure whenever you fancy.
This level of craptacular luxury doesn’t come cheap. You pay $15 a year, then you pick a plan like $24/day for three days or $60 for ten days, and boom, your dumping worries are over.
The facility also has rentable showers and digital lockers and we can only imagine what other uses enterprising folks may come up for these little spaces.
The first ‘club’opens in June so what we really want to know is will a Dublin branch be opening any time soon? And if they did, would you use it?
