Product Review: Nivea for Men exfoliating face scrub

We could all do with taking better care of our face, we do only get one, after all

Taking better care of your skin has been pretty much a theme of JOE’s product reviews lately, and while it’s grand to use shower gel the odd time to wash your face, you should remember that if you look after your skin you’ll look younger, and all those late nights won’t tell as much the next day. It’s a good idea to sleep the odd time too, though.

With that in mind, JOE had a look at Nivea for Men’s exfoliating face scrub, which cleans the day’s drit off your face. If you’re anything like us (or many other people), you’ll be definitely pouring sweat from your forehead once you get active in there, and cleaning all that off after you finish up not only makes you fit to be seen by other people in the world again, but also leaves you feeling a lot better. They don’t call it fresh faced for nothing you know…

The scrub itself isn’t harsh, but it does contain extra fine particles that get right in there and scrub your skin well, taking off the layers of dirt and grime that you might have picked up throughout the day, or from a sweaty workout. It’s not heavily perfumed (in fact it’s a pretty neutral smell)

Once again, it’s an ideal size to throw in your kit bag or gym bag. It’s nice and compact, and won’t take up too much space (which is at a premium if you’re going to get all your other gear in), and is a handy little addition, even if you;re just grabbing a shower at the gym.

One thing that should be noted, you might feel your skin is a little taught after using this since it’s been scrubbed clean, so you can throw a bit of moisturiser on too to make your skin feel that little but smoother.

Before you know it, you;re actually taking care of your skin, and with the absolute minimum of effort. We are actually talking about 45 seconds of work here lads, that’s not too taxing we don’t think.
