Remember these?
So much has happened in Irish society during 2015 that it’s easy to forget some of the biggest events and stories from the past 12 months.
The Berkeley tragedy, marriage equality, sporting highs and lows, viral sensations and Teresa Mannion were just some of the memorable moments but we’ve decided to take a look back at the year that was 2015.

6) This postman deserves a raise
No surname, no street address, no county and yet a postman managed to deliver this letter. Conor Doherty’s father Albert must be particularly well known in Carndonagh, County Donegal. here’s hoping that you’ve all got a postman like this to deliver your Christmas cards.
5) These Irish dancers from Cork are set for huge things
Prodijig: The Revolution, is coming to Cork Opera House in 2016 and it looks set to be a smash.
Created by Kenefick, a World Champion Irish Dancer and choreographer, and starring 22 of the worlds best Irish dancers, it is described as “the dance of a new era” and tells the story of the evolution of Irish dance.
By the looks of the preview in the video below, it’s going to go down a storm.

3) The nicest care package that was sent this year
Tralee woman Jacinta O’Mahony sent a package to her son Brendan who has been living in Perth, Australia for the last four years. Here’s a look at all the goodies inside but there’s even more because…
… Jacinta was a little bit worried that the package might not get through customs in Perth so she left this really sweet note for the airport staff.
