Taking care of your skin doesn’t have to be a laborious process, in particular if you use this handy in-shower body moisturiser
We’ve been taking better care of our skin (and yours, we hope) recently with a few of Nivea’s moisturiser products, and this latest in-shower body moisturiser is a great addition to the lazy man’s daily skincare routine.
This bottle is slightly bigger than the other products in the range, but it’s still only the size of your shower gel, so we’re not talking about lugging around a keg or anything. If you’re like us, you like to get a quick but intense work out in at some stage in the day, either in the morning as you’re heading to work, or popping out on your lunch break and clearing your head from the stress of the office.
Hopefully, like us you also take a shower afterwards, for the benefit of your colleagues. So with that in mind, this in-shower moisturiser is a handy one to have in the arsenal when you want to keep moisturised you don’t have the space in your sports bag to carry a full range of potions and lotions when you’ve got some important gear to cram in there.
It’s easy to apply that in the shower and that also allows you to moisturise more than just your face. If you’re going for a swim or cycling or even getting a bit of cardio in during your break, then your skin will need a bit of looking after. You go from sweating heavily to a hot shower to the cold air, it’s a lot of messing around in a quick space of time, and if you give your skin that extra bit of moisture while you’re already in the shower, it will hang on to it a bit better too.
Also it’s no extra trouble seeing as you’re already in the shower anyway, so you only have to spend an extra few seconds throwing it on and then rinse it off afterwards. Besides, Zapp Brannigan from Futurama uses moisturiser then it’s good enough for us. Our elbows have never been so soft…
You’ll notice that there are two different colour bottles on offer (the blue and the white), which are for dry skin and normal skin, depending on what you feel you need. Of course after a few applications of the dry skin version, you’ll probably be able to switch over to the normal skin, of course!
We found it particularly useful, particularly in the heat when we were working out and the sweat levels were getting excessive. Taking only a few seconds to throw on and rinse off again in the shower too, it was an easy process, which we couldn’t be happier with.
