No one likes a parking fine.
They’re annoying, unwanted and a nasty surprise for people just trying to go about their day.
When you’re saddled with a fine you can take one of two options. You can grudgingly grin and bear it, or you can look to be a bit creative with how you pay it.
Birmingham born comedian Joe Lycett recent found himself come a cropper of Leeds Council parking services after parking in a bus lane.
With a £30 fine to pay, but no specification on how to make the payment, Joe decided to put a bit of extra effort into his fine.

Sending over a nice little box full of £30 worth of change, Joe also filled out a lovely handwritten card, topped off with a Euro 2016 football sticker of Bernardo Silva.
The card reads
‘Dear Leeds Parking Services,
Please find enclosed £30 payment for my recent violation of a bus lane (fine reference).
Please also find a Euro 2016 sticker for Portuguese player Bernardo Silva.
All my love, Joe Lycett x’
Joe’s payment method is certainly a contrast to American Brett Sanders, who decided to pay his $212 speeding fine entirely in pennies.
