Drifting large front wheel drive sedans on open roads seems to be the cool thing to do in the Middle East these days, but all too often the illegal events end in a crash.

Hajwalah, or Tafheet as it’s also known, is the art of drifting a large front-wheeled drive saloon across a large motorway (typically 6 or more lanes wide), while going as fast as you can. Obviously, it’s a highly illegal activity and the video below will show you why…

Thankfully, no one was killed in the crash, but we’re sure the lads in the car were still feeling the effects the next day.

Hajwalah isn’t the only illegal activity that young Saudi’s like to get up to on the countries main roads. ‘Sidewalk Skiing’ is also a pretty big thing among the boy racers. Although, we’re not exactly sure how someone thought this would be a good idea…
