Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens has been turned into a comedy zoo this weekend, with all manner of exotic, and very funny, exhibits. Here’s a little preview of what to expect.

This weekend, one of Dublin’s best public spaces, The Iveagh Gardens, plays host to one of the city’s best festivals, the Vodafone Comedy Festival.

This year’s event is a four-day affair and the list of names playing is a who’s who of international and Irish comedy.

From international stars like John Bishop, Lee Mack and Reginald D Hunter to Irish superstars of stand-up like Dylan Moran, Tommy Tiernan and Jason Byrne, you really can’t go wrong at this Festival.

With four stages (The Big Red, The Cherry Top, The Comedy Hub and The Jokeshop) to choose from, each will play host to two different shows each night, for each of the four days. That’s a lot of laughs, and a lot of great night’s out to choose from.

Sadly, Day One is already in the books, but this video will give you a hint of what you missed on Thursday, and give you a taster of what to come.

If you have some free time, there are few better ways to spend the weekend.
