Video: Irish lad in Thailand rents moped, crashes it straight into a shop, gets zero sympathy from his friends

Remember that scene from The Inbetweeners where Jay crashes the motorbike straight into the steps?

Thailand has become an increasingly popular holiday destination for young Irish people in recent years and renting a moped to travel around and see the sights while there has become something of a rite of passage for those who make the trip.

Many of those who do go will never have piloted a moped or a motorbike before, of course, leading to the type of incident that occurred to an Irishman by the name of Sean Tobin while visiting the country recently.

We don’t want to make light of accidents like these because they can often be more serious, but thankfully Sean was OK after crashing his moped straight into a shop nearby.
