Following on from a legend’s footsteps is never easy, but Howth native Domhnall Gleeson seems to be doing just that and building a pretty stellar career for himself in the process. He’s also doing his bit for a worthy cause…
The legend we’re referring to is, of course, his Dad, Mr Brendan Gleeson – one of the finest thespians this country has ever produced. While Domhnall has the release of About Time coming up in a few weeks (where he stars opposite Rachel McAdams) that will surely see him ascend the A-list, he’s still doing his bit for charity – in a rather hilarious way.
The campaign is called “Immaturity for Charity” and features some talented Irish folks being very funny in an attempt to raise some bobs for St. Francis Hospice. They’ve already raised a brilliant €65,000, but want to make as much as possible for a worthy cause. We’ll let Domhnall explain himself below…
