“Thunderbolt of lightning, very very frightening…”
Our neighborhood isn’t exactly a quiet affair on Halloween, with bonfires and fireworks going off, but we’d love to copy the example of Nick Thomas and Steve Jandick, the 25-year-old son of his next-door neighbor.
The duo have created an intricate light display that’s perfectly timed to popular music and features about 30 different songs running from dusk until 9:30 p.m.
If this wasn’t enough to already love the two guys then you should know that Thomas doesn’t accept money toward his electric bill from visitors, he prefers donations for charity to Gigi’s Playhouse, a Chicago non-profit that helps people with Down syndrome.
What a hero, this helps also.
