Everyone knows that the only thing better than coming home after months/years away is surprising as many people as possible whilst doing so.
Yes, it requires months of discipline and barefaced lying to your poor mother about what you're doing for Christmas but the end justifies the means.
Just ask Shane Dowling who came home to Mountmellick in County Laois from New York this Christmas and got onto JOE with this message.
