We all know that using our mobiles behind the wheel is illegal, but yet people still do it. So the critically acclaimed director Werner Herzog has created this short documentary featuring real people whose lives have been affected by texting and driving.

The following documentary, ‘From One Second To The Next’, comes from the acclaimed director Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man, Encounters at the End of the World, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call) and if you, or anyone you know, has a habit of texting while driving then you need to watch this…

It’s over 30 minutes long, but it’s definitely worth the watch when you have the chance.

The movie documents “the tragic testimonies of individuals who have shattered lives and have had their lives shattered as a direct result of texting and driving”.

“There’s a completely new culture out there,” Herzog told the Associated Press.

“I’m not a participant of texting and driving – or texting at all – but I see there’s something going on in civilisation which is coming with great vehemence at us.”

The movie was produced on behalf of the mobile operator in the US, AT&T, and the aim is to show the movie to over 40,000 high schools in the US.

It’s a very powerful video and it’s sure to make you switch off your phone before you turn on your engine.
