Forget everything that’s gone before, this is our new favourite world record.
Because there are Guinness World records for virtually everything these days, including the most toilet seats broken by one’s head in one minute (it exists, look it up), people have to come up with extremely niche ways of getting their names in the record books.
24-year old Simon Berry did exactly that on Thursday, setting a Guinness World record for successfully dunking a biscuit in a cup of tea after bungee jumping from 73 metres to do so.
Berry completed the feat in Berkshire as part of Guinness World Records Day, owing his success to a technique of clasping one wrist over the other for extra stability and precision.

"It was pretty difficult - the team helped by getting me roughly in there in the right place, but going down and having to nail that cup of tea was pretty tricky," Berry
is quoted as saying on the BBC.
Thankfully, the biscuit used by Berry managed to stay intact after the dunk; we can’t say for certain but it looks like a solid chocolate digestive to us.
A fine choice indeed.
