Fair play to them…
You’ve probably heard of Picture This. They’ve exploded in Ireland over the last 18 months with their initial growth fuelled by their hit single “Take My Hand’.
The band played two sold out gigs in the Marquee in Cork over the weekend, but they managed to spare a bit of time during the day to follow through on a promise they made months previous.
Last October Cork’s RedFM held an exclusive intimate gig with Picture This for listeners in the Metropole hotel, and during a Q&A afterwards, one audience member asked the band would they play at her wedding. The band were caught off-guard but agreed to play for the wedding if it fitted in their schedule.
A month ago, bride Aine confirmed to RedFM presenter Colm O’Sullivan that the band had come through on their promise and would be playing in the church on the day of her wedding with Paul.
On Saturday, in a lovely cermony in Faranree church in Cork and Ryan and Jimmy of Picture This performed their hit song Take My Hand as the newly married couple walked hand in hand down the aisle.
