How anyone could have gotten behind the wheel of a car in such condition is beyond us.

Gardaí in Dublin stopped a motorist driving a car with no tax, insurance or NCT and with one of its rear tyres completely worn off. Pictures of the car in question were posted on Twitter by An Garda Síochána and show the state of the rear tyre, of which only frayed bits of rubber remain. https://twitter.com/GardaTraffic/status/957259969547718656 The pictures also show that the insurance, tax and NCT discs are all at least seven months out of date on the car, which was stopped by Gardaí in Skerries in north Dublin. Images via Twitter/Garda Traffic Gardaí said that the driver was taking a “ridiculous” risk driving a car in such a terrible condition and reminded motorists of the dangers of substandard tyres and of the responsibility of motorists to ensure their vehicles are roadworthy. https://twitter.com/GardaTraffic/status/957260567949037570 Stay safe behind the wheel, folks.
