The motorist will appear in court after being arrested for dangerous driving.
An 18-year-old learner driver was arrested by An Garda Síochána after he was caught driving at a speed of 181 km/h on the M9 on Saturday morning.

The motorist was arrested for dangerous driving and will face a court appearance in the near future.

The 18-year-old, a male, was driving a car with illegal yellow Irish plates when pulled over by Naas Roads Policing on Saturday morning, an offence that can bring a fine of up to €5,000.
