We know clampers have a job to do, but is this example, taken just off Stephen’s Green shopping centre today, not taking the biscuit just a little bit?

Many of our readers have informed us on Twitter that the purpose of clamping the machine is to ensure it isn't stolen and that would appear to make more sense as it would take a brave clamper to put one on something that size.
That said, there does appear to be a clamping notice on the machine as well so maybe this particular clamper was determined to take no sh*t.
Either way, park errantly in the capital and chances are you're not going to get away with it.
