Motorists shouldn’t need another warning, but they have one anyway.
A major mobile phone operation will be conducted by An Garda Síochána in the coming days in an effort to clamp down on the number of motorists who use their phones while driving in Ireland.
It was revealed by An Garda Síochána today that 28,000 drivers were detected using a mobile phone behind the wheel in 2015, an average of 76 a day.
