Some pretty random flicks on the telly tonight, we’re not gonna lie…

Welcome to Wednesday, the ultimate “What do we do today?” day.

You could head to the cinema? Or see what Netflix has to offer?

Or just check out one of the movies below, all on TV tonight:

WEDNESDAY 20 FEBRUARY

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 – Comedy Extra – 6.00pm

Even if you haven’t seen the original (and you really should have seen the original, because it is great), then the sequel is still a blast, with an all-star voice-cast (Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Neil Patrick Harris, Will Forte) trying to save the world from what appears to be man-eating food items.

The Inbetweeners Movie – E4 – 9.00pm

Will, Neil, Jay, and the other one head to Crete for their first big holiday together, expecting sex, sun, sex, booze, and probably some more sex. Guess what? Things don’t go exactly according to plan.

Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes – FilmFour – 10.55pm

The one after Rise, but the one before War. Arguably the best of the new trilogy, which sees Caesar attempting to stop both the humans from attempting to reclaim their place at the top of the planet’s food chain, as well as a potential coup from within his own species.

Conspiracy Theory – TCM – 11.30pm

Mel Gibson is a paranoid weirdo who thinks the government is watching his every movie. Julia Roberts is the nice government lawyer who is unsure if he is on to something or if he is just a paranoid weirdo. Patrick Stewart has a ball playing a real nasty bad guy.

The Bling Ring – Channel 4 – 12.40am

Emma Watson stars in this based-on-a-true-story tale of a group of ruthless teenagers who use the internet to discover the addresses of famous celebrities, and then break into their homes and take millions of dollars worth of their things.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
