Deadpool isn’t your ordinary superhero, but ordinary is boring anyway, right?
The ‘merc with a mouth’, as he is also known, is coming to Irish cinemas on February 10 and we can’t bloody wait!

We think this may be the best superhero movie EVER. Here’s why:
A perfect combo of character and actor
Ryan Reynolds really, really, REALLY wants to make up for the shit-storm that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In it *spoilers* he plays ‘the merc with a mouth’ but for some reason, he gets his gob glued shut.
Since that movie, Reynolds has been campaigning tirelessly to get a stand alone movie that truly gets the character. This is that movie.
It features one of your favourite X-Men
Comic book nerds rejoice, X-Men’s Colossus does appear in the movie.
Expect audience interaction
The fourth wall gets smashed by Deadpool. He is fully aware that he is a comic book characters and regularly interacts with the audience. He knows the rules and has zero interest in sticking to them.
There will be gore
Deadpool ain’t going to give you a spiel about ‘power and responsibility.’ He enjoys being reckless.
And plenty of foul language
It isn’t a kid’s movie. Our protagonist doesn’t mind offending… in fact, he loves it.
Deadpool hits cinemas on February 10 and you should go see it.
