The first season ended with a bang that left many questions in our minds about what would come next in Season 2, some of which we've spoken about here.
They're currently casting for the second season of the show, and a requirement for one of the roles caught our attention faster than a rampaging demogorgon.
The creators of the show are looking for females who are willing to cut their hair down to a buzzcut, similar to Eleven in the series.
Obviously fans have been predicting that we may not have just one telekinetic (yes, we think she's still alive) running wild in Stranger Things and Eleven might be about to get some company.
How cool would that be?
The creators of the show, the Duffer brothers, recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming series and while they didn't mention anything about possible company for Eleven, they revealed some other interesting facts about the show.
Ross Duffer addressed where the show would take place following rumours it may skip ahead in time.
“I think we talked like a larger time jump where the kids are older now and it’s a different decade. That’s something we batted around from the very beginning. But for us, there’s still more story here [in the 1980s], there’s still things that are unresolved.”
While Matt Duffer revealed that we'll be seeing a lot more of the upside down world in the coming season.
“We kinda just peeled back the curtain and revealed a tiny bit of the Upside Down. So we definitely want to explore a little bit more. There’s a lot we don’t know about the Upside Down at the end of season 1.”
We can't wait to watch it, shame it's not until next year...
