Alden Ehrenreich confirmed to play young Han Solo in Star Wars spin-off film

Deadline has confirmed that the scruffy-looking Alden Ehrenreich will star as Han Solo in an upcoming film about the early life of the iconic Star Wars character, perfectly portrayed by Harrison Ford. Boooooooooo! We wanted Jack Reynor. Reports indicate that 26-year-old Ehrenreich beat a number of other actors, including Reynor and Kingsman star Taron Egerton, to the role in the film, expected to be titled Han Solo: A Star Wars Story.
