Our TV movie pick for tonight (Friday, 20 March) is All You Need is Death, the fantastic 2022 Irish folk horror.
The dramatic feature debut from documentarian and TV veteran Paul Duane (Amber, Secret Diary of a Call Girl), the film centres around Anna (Simone Collins) and Aleks (Charlie Maher). They are a couple who are part of a secret organisation that believes magical power is contained in old, forgotten songs.
As such, the pair travel around Ireland seeking out trad tunes. The lesser heard and known the better.

The duo find themselves directed to Rita Concannon (the always hypnotic Olwen Fouéré, The Northman). She is the last in a line of women to have handed a song down through generations, one that has never been recorded and is forbidden to men.
When Anna and Aleks make a secret recording of the tune, however, they open the door to an ancient evil and madness.
Featuring a striking and disquieting soundtrack from Ian Lynch (Lankum), All You Need is Death sees Duane putting an Irish and musical spin on folk horror, resulting in one of the best entries in the sub-genre we've seen in a long time.
While the movie's distinct tone and off-kilter story may put off some casual viewers, those seeking something truly inventive and unique should definitely add the film to their watchlist.
Holding an 88% Rotten Tomatoes score, All You Need is Death is airing on TV tonight on RTÉ2 at 9.30pm.
The film is also available to stream on Prime Video and Shudder.
